I’m a webmaster; as any other webmaster I like a lot of visitors on my site. I’m also a curious fellow and like to look at the statistics for the site, the main thing I’m interested in is the keywords people enter into their search engine to get to the site. The keywords on starletlinks.com are quite normal, a lot of cases of people misspelling names but nothing really dramatic. Then there are the keywords for starletviews.com; there’s some weird stuff in there.

Not too long ago I did a story about that there seem to be a lot of young Hollywood stars that smoke; since then key phrases like “miley cyrus smoking a cigarette“, “Emily osment smoking a cigarette” (actually the top search result for the last month) and even “elle fanning smoking”. The people that search for things like that should realise one thing, if someone like that would smoke you wouldn’t be able to find pics of it. The people behind them would do everything in their power to prevent from something like that coming out. And to the person searching for pics of Elle Fanning smoking; try to step into the real world, she’s nine years old. I don’t even know why someone would attempt a search like that.

Miley Cyrus seems to be a popular target for strange keywords anyway, I’ve also seen the phrases “miley cyrus getting in trouble with the law” and “miley cyrus going to rehab” coming by, not to mention that people are even searching for pics of her posing in Maxim. She’s fourteen! There won’t be pics like that, and people shouldn’t be searching for them. Not that Miley doesn’t dress to suggest otherwise. People also try to find out when she’s eighteen; they’ll have to wait a little over three years for that.

I also mentioned plastic surgery once, that they might do it one day. And search engines of course index the entire site so things from several articles can get matched; leading to search results for people looking for evidence of Vanessa Hudgens, Tina Majorino, Miley Cyrus and Amanda Bynes having plastic surgery. First of all, they don’t need plastic surgery if you ask me. Second; if they had undergone plastic surgery beyond a doubt the magazines would have been all over that. The tabloids like to write about stuff like that when they’re not busy making up stuff, not even mentioning the legal issues it would cause with some of them.

The search for Hayden Panettiere Maxim pics is also quite popular, they aren’t out yet but seeing she just posed for FHM these people may be in luck fairly soon. Though people were searching for those months ago, people should check up on the age of people like that before doing searches like that; that might prevent disappointments.

There are of course a lot more examples of strange key phrases, who knows; I might even make a weird key phrase list at one point. I just hope that the site rankings will go up so we get more normal than weird search results. Though they will keep showing up, I can just say one thing about the people searching for those things; they should get realistic and think before searching for weird things.
