Dakota Fanning to star in Push
Dakota Fanning has signed on to star in the supernatural thriller Push. It’s a science fiction story about former young American patriots with clairvoyant and telekinetic abilities. They’re hiding from a clandestine government agency and have to work together and use their abilities to escape this agency. The movie is set to start shooting in the fall in Hong Kong.
I’m not sure what kind of part Dakota will be playing but this movie just seems weird. What is known about this movie at this time is quite vague but sounds weird nonetheless. This is one of four movies that Dakota will be starring in for 2008, seems quite a lot for a thirteen year old girl. Whether this is a good role for her career I don’t know yet, just seems like nothing special.

Dakota has done weird movies before like Hide & Seek and Taken. No biggie.
