Best selling albums of 2007
The new year has started but that also means that all the results for last year are in. In this case those for best sold albums of the year. Most people probably can already guess who the most successful person featured on this site is; of course Miley Cyrus. The top ten for most sold albums consists of the following artists:
1. Josh Groban
2. High School Musical 2
3. The Eagles
4. Alicia Keys
5. Daughtry
6. Miley Cyrus
7. Linkin Park
8. Fergie
9. Taylor Swift
10, Kanye West
In a sense Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale are also part of that list looking at their involvement in High School Musical 2. That’s a group effort though so it’s not like they achieved that on their own. In numbers it was actually quite close what female artist would have the best selling album of the year; in the end Alicia Keys won that race.
Though Miley’s album has been on the market for far longer than Alicia’s. After more than six months her album is still going strong in the top ten of the Billboard Charts though. Taylor Swift is in the same age group as Miley, seeing she doesn’t act she doesn’t really qualify for this site quite yet though.
