Ashley Tisdale fighting aliens
Ashley Tisdale has landed her first movie role outside of Disney; she’s set to star in the 20th Century Fox adventure comedy They Came From Upstairs. She’ll co-star alongside Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins and Austin Butler.
The movie is about a group of teenagers that have defend their vacation home against aliens who invaded via the upstairs. The movie will start shooting at the end of January in New Zealand.
Looking at who’s behind this movie there seems to be a good group of director, writers and producers in place. About the plot however I’m not too sure, it sounds quite vague so we can’t really say too much about that. It will probably turn out to be a standard comedy.
Ashley had to leave the safe Disney environment at some time so it’s probably best to do it in a project that’s not too high profile. Though I doubt there’s a real acting challenge involved.
