Apparently Ashley Tisdale is getting further involved in the Disney empire. She’s working with Disney Channel on a show based on her own teenage years when she worked in a mall. I’d give you a source link but seeing the information is IMDB Pro that’s not exactly possible. The show is still in the pitch status though which means that they are interested in the show and that they’re now working on coming up with a more extensive story and might start work on a pilot script.

Ashley Tisdale is attached as a producer right now, it wouldn’t make much sense for her to star in it herself seeing she’s a bit old for the part now. I also would have said it’s a career killer to be on another Disney show but luckily that’s not the case. There’s no guarantee that this show will be made though, it could be killed before a pilot is even made.

Being a producer on a show isn’t really a bad thing, she’s expanding her horizons in show business that way. Who knows, she might enjoy it more than acting. Though if this show gets made I don’t know how excited I’d be about seeing about Ashley’s life in a mall or how realistic it would actually be. I can only imagine it would be loosely based on her own life.
