Alexis gets a ticket
Alexis Bledel has signed on to star in the Fox Atomic comedy Ticket to Ride. Alexis will play the character of Ryden Malby, she’s a college graduate that is forced to move back in with her eccentric family while she tries to find a job, a guy and her direction in life. The budget of the movie is set around fifteen million dollars.
The movie will be directed by Vicky Jenson who is best known for directing Shrek, she has a wide experience with animated movies. The script was written by Kelly Fremon who apparently wrote fifteen drafts of the script before coming to a final result.
I think this might be a good project for Alexis; it’s not the highest budget movie she’s been in but it’s still decent. As for the story there isn’t quite enough known about it yet but it looks like a halfway enjoyable story. She’s still trying to find her way after being on Gilmore Girls for seven years and that just takes time.
